Dr. O'Horo

Dr. O'Horo graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1997. He completed a general practice residency in 1998 at the Tufts New England Medical Center where he served as chief resident. Prior to moving to North Andover, he practiced in New York City at a prestigious Park Avenue cosmetic dental office.

Dr. O'Horo is current with all the latest procedures and techniques. He has earned certifications in laser dentistry, Invisalign®, and is licensed in oral sedation. He believes strongly in continuing education which is why he is pursuing a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization which requires its members to take more than double the state's requirement for continuing education. Other memberships include: The American Dental Association, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Massachusetts Dental Society, and The Merrimack Valley Dental Society.

Philosophy of Dental Practice:

Our dental philosophy centers on providing excellent dental care in a loving and caring environment. It is very important that we get to know our patients before any elective dental treatment is started. We need to know some things about you. Are there any medical conditions? Any anxiety situation? What have your previous dental experiences been like? Are there any current budget restraints? We want to understand what is important to you.

Before beginning dental treatment we want to explain various treatment options. There is usually more than one way to approach treatment and together we can discuss the options and select the most appropriate course of treatment for each patient. Some of the most frequently asked questions are: will it hurt? how long will the treatment take? what will it cost? what will my insurance cover? These are all good questions and we will answer them before proceeding with a treatment plan. We are partners in your care and together we can make the best choices for you.

We know that dentistry is difficult for some people. Therefore, we want to create an atmosphere which is comfortable. You can feel confident that we will make every effort to know you and treat you respectfully at all times. We will take every step possible to make your experience a pleasant one. We truly want your dental experience to be great in our office.

We are continual students and take numerous courses in order to provide our patients the best that is available. This process is truly a labor of love. Our pledge to you is to combine the latest and best dental technology in a caring attentive atmosphere.

Our Team

	Mona is a registered dental hygienist and has been part of the hygiene team since 1991. She a graduate of Middlesex Community College and is bilingual in English and French. She loves to cheer on the Red Sox and Patriots with her husband and two children.
	Darlene is an insurance and scheduling coordinator and has been part of the team since 1987. A graduate of Holy Cross, she lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid Red Sox fan.
	Bonnie is the treatment and financial coordinator and has been with the team since 1996. She has been in the dental profession for twenty-three years. She resides in Maine with her husband who pastors a Baptist church. Her new grandsons, Ryan and Christopher, are the highlights of her life.
	Josie is a dental assistant and has been with the team since 2002. A graduate of Northern Essex Community College, she has been assisting since 1989. She is married with three wonderful children and is also English/Spanish bilingual.
	Jessica is a dental assistant and has been part of the team since 1999. A graduate of Northern Essex Community College, she also serves as the office activities director, planning exciting outings for our team. "I look forward to meeting you!"
	Ivy is a dental assistant and has been an integral part of the team since 1996. She is a graduate of Northern Essex Community College and has two beautiful daughters.
	Cindy is a scheduling coordinator and has been part of the team since 1995. She entered the dental profession after attending Hesser College. She enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.
	Judy is a registered dental hygienist and has been part of the team since 1991. A graduate of Forsythe School of Dental Hygiene, she finds her work to be personally fulfilling and enjoys the personal relationships with her patients. After eleven years of full time work, she is now working part time to enjoy more time with her husband and three daughters.
	Michelle is a registered dental hygienist and has been with the team since 2003. She is a graduate of Middlesex Community College. She enjoys spending time with her husband and loves to travel.
